Chief Cashier (Operation)

Job Descriptions:

  • Mentor, train, manage, and oversee junior cashiers as necessary by providing assistance during customer interactions, verifying prices, and acting according to store policy.
  • Maintain a positive work environment for all Cashiers.
  • Resolve cash tills at the end of every shift.
  • Generate accurate till reports for each register.
  • Manage and perform all check-out functions on a daily basis.
  • Communicate clearly and openly with customers.
  • Manage the check-out area and ensure each station remains clean and efficiently run
  • Respond to Cashiers’ requests for price checks and other functions for customer service
  • Listen to customer complaints and questions and refer them to the assistant manager when required
  • Ensure all stations have adequate cash and change at all times

Requirements:

  • Willing to participate in on-the-job training
  • Candidates must poses at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Diploma / Degree in any Field.
  • At least Four (4) years of working experience in retail industry field is required for this position.
  • Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia, ability to speak in other dialects such as Mandarin, Tamil, and local dialects is an added advantage.
  • Pleasant Personality and able to communicate with the customers.
  • Full Time position.
